Why Sussex FSA?

 

Join like minded people - share skills, knowledge and a love of the outdoors

 

Throughout the year we hold Networking Days, CPD courses, social events and more recently, online Zoom meetings, to connect with our local Forest School community.

 

There is currently no membership fee to join our locality group and we consider our courses to be incredibly good value for money. We recognise that for many the COVID-19 pandemic will have impacted them financially and, with that in mind, we have decided as an organisation to subsidise both CPD courses and networking days for the current year.

Following the success of the National FSA Conference in 2019, which we co-hosted with Surrey FSA, we are continuing to develop as a group; with an awareness to further develop connection with the east side of the county, which due to the size of Sussex, can feel a long distance from some of the events we hold. We have already started hosting 2 in 1 Networking Days, when we hold a Networking event in both East and West Sussex on the same day. This is proving very successful.
